Funny old game footballl
A depleted palace could have taken pride from 2/3 or even 4 mill. fighting for everything to close city down for 75 minutes
Henderson and all played well. Ozoh looks worth many more minutes
Even mateta with zero service
City resorting to hacking olise everytime he got the ball

Then the football gods shined on us
2 breaks and 2 goals
Fantastic to experience the joy and sing “2 nil and you f***ed it up” to the Middle East mancs
and by the way….FRanca looked really exciting and surely must be given a run
And eze ready to roll
Bring it on COYP!
Enjoy today.

When you get a result like that in our situation, you take it and say thank you.

A good confidence builder for a very depleted squad.
Those younger lads need it right now.

What happened there? 2 goals up and coasting then the Mancs screw it up. I had a small (very small) wager on a draw but never expected a comeback like that. Well done Palace!!!

Once all the excitement and relief have passed, then it can be said that we were poor for the majority of the game and got lucky. Nothing to do with tactical genius, we had about the same amount of possession as the Liverpool game (26%) and even less attempts on target (2). Perhaps tactical genius Roy Hodgson knew that we were going to turn it on with 10 minutes remaining, in which case I doff my cap.
A big yes to the youngsters who came on and staked a claim for more time on the pitch. A big yes for Mateta who kept going right to the end and a big yes to Olise for keeping cool and putting the penalty away.
A welcome point and perhaps Roy Hodgson has finally realised that it is not possible to score (goals win games) being sat deep in your own half.

Have a day off with your usual negative stuff. Its was a nice surprise result, who cares about possession and shots etc.

What a result and end to the game. If you were there tell us about your day.

I was there five years ago with my then thirteen year old son and it's up there with the best moments as a Palace fan.

Brilliant. Well done Roy. Mind you he'll probably cop a fine off the FA for showing a lack of empathy.
