currently reported as 15 dead and up to 30 injured. We can be certain these numbers will change as the truth outs. It seems to have been a student (24), in the philosophy department, doing the shooting. Now also dead himself - maybe suicide or maybe death by cop. Shocking - absolutely shocking. What drives a 24 yr old to carry out such an appalling massacre? I almost feel sorry for him in the sense that I cannot imagine what was going on inside his head. He's now dead along with, as yet, an unknown number of innocent folk who were simply going about their business. And this was Prague not Phoenix Arizona.
Dad and I watched games standing on the muddy slope of the Holmesdale Road end. He cheered and I rattled. |
