2 games on the bounce that Ayew should never have been taken off.

I thought we actually played decent enough tonight. Richards was excellent.

Penalty was just unlucky but the argument is that Eze should have been subbed before that. He had a poor game.

Roy looked a resigned figure during the game.
As far as I could see he sat down the whole game and wasn't offering any coaching from the touchline.
He's been in the game long enough to know that there's no sentiment in football and the results haven't been good enough.
I think it will be a mutual parting of the ways and will be surprised if he's still in place by mid January.

My missus supports Brentford I usually look forward to the banter before we play them however these days me and the missus just aren't interested, it is the full black cloud in our house at the moment just waiting to see who is the s***iest between the two, it will probably be a 0-0 borefest.

One of the biggest mysteries in life is that loud stupid people normally don't have even the slightest inclination that they are stupid.

All very predictable and all very much the same. I genuinely go into every game now fully expecting not to win.
3 points off relegation and I would imagine we will be in the bottom 3 within the next 2-3 weeks.
I wonder if those on here, and there were a fair few, who were happy that Roy was given another 12 months are still just as happy?

It was a dreadful decision but the board must take full responsibility. We've been doing things on the cheap for the last couple of seasons now and our luck is finally running out.

I was one on here saying I didn't want Roy back and, we needed a lot more investment with everything to do with this club, and, have had for yonks. Jeez, we ain`t had a decent striker since Murray, how long ago was that. Anyway, I was slagged off, we ain't got money, we can't afford, blah, blah, blah, for saying my bit, which I still stick by. It's come back to bite us on the arse now, maybe.

That's beyond a coincidence. It's a personnel issue. Management and players.

On the assumption you’re correct, this is so telling and well done for digging out.

We need players and a new manager. Personally, I would rather the former but if nothing changes I can’t see any way but south for us. That game was not only possible to get a point from but there for the taking. I think they made four subs before we made one. Just waiting for somebody to do something outside of any managerial influence is just backwards and beyond insane when we concede like we do.

Nothing will change if nothing changes.

Now Zaha's got a bit of green grass ahead of him here... and finds Ambrose... not a bad effort!!!!

It's as simple as this, Roy needs to go.

.

nope.

our performance in the second half was much improved.

Chelscum have an enormous Bank account. It was THEIR back yard.

We will win our next home game.

Not so, we didn't take any hammerings during that poor period. The point I'm making is when is one bad run worthy of a sacking and another bad run ok? Hodgson offers nothing we haven't seen before, it's really predictable, from the opening tactics to the lack of possession, to the opposition scoring, to the mini fight back, to the wrong substitutions, to the late opposition winner.
Yes, we have little patches when we look ok for 10 minutes but ultimately we fade and fail. Poor game management, it's time for a change while there is still time. Parish must be wondering how much more faith he can have before time's up.

My phone has been 'Pinging' with messages from supporters and they echo the sentiments which I have highlighted.
They believe that a change is required as a matter of urgency.

Eze cost us the game with a reflexive tackle in the box.

We really created very little again and with such thin squad, we have very few options to throw on.

Roy could be one game away from the door I'm afraid.

We have to pick up points now.

Eze looked exhausted, but Ayew didn't exactly look perky. Not an easy choice for a sub.

As for the penalty, it was just a tired effort end-of-game play by both Eze and Madueke, which is why the ref waved it off. Because of their fatigue, he wouldn't have called a foul at midfield, so he didn't call one in the box. But VAR in their wisdom, and with 2-3 minutes of checking it in slow motion, decided it was a clear & obvious error.

Diabolical.

1 win in our last 12 games 5 defeats in our last 8 games, we are 'Sleep walking' into relegation.

A red mist of fury has formed around me, I have been hissing, scowling and glaring and my dear wife has admonished me for my behaviour.

I digress my dear friend Willo. We are not "Sleep walking " we are "Free falling " i would even go as far to say " Bungee jumping without the elastic cord " into relegation. It will take a hot whiskey to get me to my slumber tonight .
