Political moratorium

If there were to be a ban on political reporting for a month, or longer, would anyone care? Obviously not on plans to increase tax by 50% or invade Europe but the witless posturing whereby Team A come out with some nonsense that won't happen and Team B respond with their fatuous counter argument. It may even encourage MPs to get on with their jobs rather than trying to look good.

The role of running the country falls to the civil service.
