Gosh, sorry guys, didn't realise it was a 2-parter, have put the proper link up on my post(he says hopefully) Basically it say's Johnstone doesn't want to go anywhere this window, wants to stay & fight for his place. Edited by eagleman13 (31 Jan 2024 11.31am)

Sam Johnston - 2 Friendly & 2 World Cup Qual (is selected even if to sit on bench currently) Henderson is 26 not some young rookie he looks like a keeper to used to big teams who always get extra protection from officials. I have no issue bringing him to the club it's the fee I have issue with when the club is suppose to have hardly any money (We had plenty of cover in this area)

Henderson is a decent keeper but Johnstone is better. The only dilemma is the money we spent(needlessly) on Henderson. Not Roy’s problem. Play Sam.

Unless there are personal circumstances we know nothing about then I agree with most posters that on past performances SJ has done better and would get my vote on Saturday! I think the jury is still out going into next season as who is better! Henderson clearly has the potential to be a PL number 1 but definitely needs to up his game to justify that assumption!

I believe that Henderson is a confident character but I sit more comfortably in my seat when Johnstone is wearing the gloves.

The Goalkeeper spot is a funny one. It seems (Unless your name is A.Ramsdale) possession is 9/10s of the law. If SJ hadn't gotten injured, then he'd still be No.1. But he did and Henderson came in in his place who hasn't really done anything wrong.

It seems most of us are better judges of a goalkeeper than Roy. Johnstone is clearly more accomplished than Henderson and would certainly have my vote for number 1 spot.
Dad and I watched games standing on the muddy slope of the Holmesdale Road end. He cheered and I rattled. |
