According to this . . . [Link] We are after this lad from West Brom. Will they do business with us after the Ferguson debacle & is there something wrong going on? We have Johnstone, Henderson, Mathews & Whitworth, Goodman from the U21's. Do we really need another 'keeper?
This operation, will make the 'Charge Of The Light Brigade' seem like a simple military exercise. |

I have been in conversation about Josh Griffiths only recently. I am advised he is an excellent shot-stopper, commands his area and can kick the ball a long distance. He is as tall as a hop pole, well 'North' of 6 ft.

I think a keeper in the transfer window and no one else will be apt.

The Johnstone situation is a mystery. If I was him, I'd be looking to leave Palace in the summer. So that's my expectation and why Palace are looking at Griffiths.

Henderson has the worst save percentage of 24 Premier League goalkeepers this season by a long way - 57.8%. Next worse is 62.7%. Worrying, the next worse after that is Sam Johnstone... To give an idea of how bad being 5% behind the next worse is, the best goalkeeper is only at 75%. I'd imagine any Griffiths interest is to cash in on one of the current two. For me, I'd be keeping Johnstone. I still cannot fathom why we bought Henderson.

I also believe Johnstone instills more belief in the defence as he commands the area slightly better than Henderson.
