It's hard to know how everything that is going on will affect the team. They could rally together to put in a performance for the boss or their heads could be down. I have a gut feeling it'll be the former and we'll battle out an ugly but important 0-0 draw. I imagine it will be much harder for Everton and their fanbase to create such a vitriolic atmosphere as the previous two years at Goodison as we are the proverbial dog that is down and any attempt to put the toe in would reflect badly on them. This time around it feels like we are the underdog, despite our respective positions in the table. To complete the dog metaphor, let's hope we have some bite!

Win it for Roy , give him a good send off if OG is taking over at the helm .

I think that the situation is not clear enough for any safe predictions. There is no official comment from the club exept the one 17 hours ago that Roy's condition is stable and wishes for quick recovery.( I wish the same wholeheartedly). There is no statement of any managerial change or who is going to run the team vs Everton. We have no idea how the players reacted psychologically as the incident took place in front of them ( I presume). What I can do is hope for the best, which would be an away win or a draw and hope that Roy's health is improving. COYP!

Lets not be negative. That team did well in defensive and counter attacking football but the failure I attribute to tactics. Conceding immediately after the break and not shutting the game down in extra time.

If we can get at them from the off ... then I think we can bang a couple of goals in and hopefully keep there chances to zero. COYP

I can see us getting comprehensively defeated 3-0. Yes I’m thinking that, Dyche has got them organised and fighting for the shirt with that siege mentality. We’re about as far from that as you can get at the moment and obviously with the players we’ve got out I’m fearing the worst

Conceding immediately after the break and not shutting the game down in extra time. So, if its the same team & Ozoh to replace Hughes, you want him to play as a ACM? That's where Hughes played v Chelsea, OR will Ozoh replace either Lerma/Wharton?
This operation, will make the 'Charge Of The Light Brigade' seem like a simple military exercise. |

Everton are a decent side. Add back the points deduction and they would be doing well. Sean Dyche is a quality manager, proper street fighter and they get full house of local fans every game. So, in terms of game plan I would basically start the same as Chelsea, apart from Henderson obviously, and attack. Its s*** or bust.
