Legend as he is Coppell did make some poor signings in his time - even though I was only a kid in the early 90's I still remember Lee Sinnott being absolutely shocking. I could probably name three or four loanees that were poor. I think it was Alan Smith who brought in some shockers. Ricky Newman anyone? From my experience he got a lot of stick from Palace fans! Also,speacial mention for Neil 'Son of Brighton' Emblem. Coppell's only true mistake.
