(although I do note that you can get 50/1 on Batistuta and 3-1). Today's picks are all at the big meeting at Epsom: Systematic (nap, 4.20), Red Liaison (5.25) and Aldora (5.55). Mellow Park is also a good each-way shout in the Oaks (3.45). World Cup nap for the day is Raul to score first v Paraguay.

Trivial fact - Palace used to win 5-1 at least once a season, maybe next season? |

I noticed too late that the winner of the Derby (High Chapperal) was ridden by a jockey in RED AND BLUE !!!! Damm - 7/2 wasn't bad odds I backed it in a forecast with Hawk Wing. Very nice.

It's a large handicap so you should be able to get each-way on the first four, unless there are a lot of late non-runners. I also like Moujoudh (Redcar 3.45) and Contrary Mary (Salisbury 3.30). Footie bets (not as good as Bexter's but she doesn't let us know until after the matches!) are Owen to score first v Nigeria, Sweden and Argentina to draw, and Brazil to beat Costa Rica 2-0 or 3-0.
