Others that appeal are Playapart (2.25) and Naughty Girl (3.55). Quite a few small fields run today, so there will be a few short priced (or even odds-on) favourites.

Today's nap is Perpetuo in the 2.40 at Carlisle. Other possibles include Coconut Penang and Norton at Lingfield, and Wunders Dream and Al Maali at Nottingham. I can't be arsed to see if there are any oh-so amusing names tenuously related to Palace!

This post has been merged from a topic called 'Racing Tip of the day' by halfmanhalfslug My weekend tip was a worst-case-scenario result: Stoke and Birmingham to both be promoted, I think the double was worth about 2/1, but I took no joy in collecting my winnings. Gutted for Sir Steve and especially for Norwich. A tough day today with not much quality, a typical Monday's racing. I'll plump for Yarrita (Wolverhampton 2.45), with The Sun Also Rises (Redcar 2.30) and Al Mabrook as an each-way chance (Wolverhampton 4.45). There's no horse running today called KILL STEVE JUDAS BRUCE, sadly, so today's CPFC related nag is Palacegate Touch (Wolv 4.15). Route One (Towcester 6.45) is just for Trevor Francis.
