I'd like to say I've been going 26 years and I'm used to palace losing and It doesn't bother me at all,but the truth Is,It pisses me off big time,We got a cat a couple of years ago,Just so I could go home and kick It every time palace lose, the poor thing Is well battered now!!

I've always said It would be nice If palace played on sunday evenings because then If/when we lose, they can't bugger up your weekend!!!

When I was in my teens and early twenties it used to mean loads and a bad match would depress me for a few days and then I'd be looking at the program and trying to figure out where we'd be after 3 straight wins.

Then on a Friday there'd maybe be a bit of team news on Teletext (God I sound like Grandpa Simpson - "In my day we tied an onion to our belt ZZZZZzzz") and I'd be all optimistic again.

I don't know if it's just TF to blame or maybe getting older and having kiddies who hog the TV to watch Thomas the Tank Engine instead of Sky Sports.

Mind you that Portsmouth game did put me in a grump for the rest of the Saturday.

I think we need a new Ian Wright to get me going. Unforunately Dele and Akinbiyi are not lighting my candle.

Of course I don't like losing but if we lose and we have played well and the other team simply played better than us.. fair enough. Its the currect form where none of the players really seem to WANT to win that bothers me. For example.. when I got home from the Derby game I was fuming because of the lack of passion from our team.. Our current team are lacking passion for the club..

......so f*ckin TRUE!

Apart from Wayne Routledge, Andy Johnson, Kolinko and a lot of the time Freedman, our players dont tend to give a sh1t and play with no pashion at all! Pisses me right off!

If it carrys on we'll have to start singing "YOUR NOT FIT TO WEAR THE SHIRTS" again, like we dis at Millwall on Boxin Day.

CPFC does not lose. TF loses and SJ watches. I hate to see sh... scores but I know, after I calm down, that one or both of these yaboos might eventually disappear. Then we will be back to square 1.

Before the game, i am buzzing, looking forward to it.

During the game, i dont care

After the game, if we win,. delighted, thinking we are on the up, if we lose, PISSED OFF AND DEPRESSED

I've tried to get used to it but i cant. If we win it feels like life is good until the next match. If we lose (or more frequently draw 0-0) i get deppressed, but then i see Millwall and Brighton below us and it all gets better.

Milwall 0-6 Rotherham

When i was a yoof, it meant everything to me and i was always planning the season ahead to see where we could get points because i beleived we were a great team waiting to happen.
Sadly the years go by and the false dawns come and go and you kind of become immune to it all.
I still love going, but i'll be damned if i'm gonna let Palace dictate my moods for anything other than the saturday evening.
I still have my rants on a saturday, but mainly like Bacon says it's a lack of fight, bottle, passion and long ball football that gets me going.
You have to get used to being frustrated. Remember, nothing beats live football, even if the games crap, thats why we go. I ask ya, were'd you rather be on a saturday???

Ya won't get me Francis, YOU B*STARD!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Yes, it does affect my moods - today I felt fairly happy, even though it was another bore draw last night, I enjoyed listening to the game and felt we deserved more on the night. It really pi55es me off when we throw away games after being in a commanding position. Same old Palace but you stick with it thru thick and thin. I am bringing up my boys in the Selhurst way and they are well into it, even though they are surrounded by Ar5e, Willmall and Manure plebs. It is in the blood, and losing is like a deep cut, but it heals quickly when you see lads like super Wayne and Jules coming up through the ranks. Let's hope it inspires the rest of the team to play for the fans on Sunday and beat the pikeys.

Winning great, Losing i can put up with if i know we have played well, (not TF telling me we have when i know we have not). What really pisses me of is when we have boring 0-0 draws like this season, good entertaining ones no problem but the boring ones aghhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh.
The thing i really can't abide though is when our prick of a manager says what he said after the Derby home game and i quote " if you are not going to win a game, you make sure you are not going to lose it" that is why i made the substitutions after 75 mins.
We were at home you useless c*** and lost to a team that only had two worthwhile efforts on goal.
