There is nothing wrong with standing up and proclaiming one's pride in being British. I nail my colours 100% to Pete's mast here and congratulate him for having the honesty to openly state what the overwhelming and, sadly, silent majority of people in this country think. Perhaps I wasn't clear mate... I'm just saying that Pete doesn't have a monopoly on having seen, and been deeply affected by, the consequences of war and slaughter. Some of the stuff I saw in India commemmorating the rebellion (and the vicious put-down of it by the Empire), and the evidence of the Holocaust I saw in Europe, makes me want to tear my heart out. How we can see that, and still advocate war, staggers me. All this anti-British stuff is getting tiresome now though -- I never said I was, it's another of Pete's paranoid inventions, and a useful label to pin on someone if you want to demonise them I would imagine. And "silent majority"? Don't make me laugh Cucking. :G

Yes I do use swear words to insult people with sometimes when words fail me, we all do, sorry if that makes me a moron, but that pretty much puts me in a camp with the whole f***ing world mate! Thanks for smugly dissecting my post line by line (again), trying to make me look a c*** every step of the way, you really are pathetic mate. Why ridicule me for telling everyone why I feel so impassioned? What's that if not a pathetic juvenile dig? Anyway, I knew you'd probably been to more places than me, seen more sights than me, you've been every-f***ing- where in the world after all and know everything there is to know on every subject, I expected it mate! I don’t claim to have the monopoly on anything, even Madcap who is certainly no fan of mine took my post the right way and agreed with it. The point of the post was to tell you that I f***ing hate you and one or two others on HOL and to give my reason why. I mean hatred is a pretty extreme emotion to have for people you've never met. My second point was that war is unfortunately a necessary evil in the real world, but even you managed to get in an anti-British stab there. I saw those graves and mourned the fact that there is such evil in the world that men have to give their lives fighting it again and again and again. You see blind stupidity. In fact you see blind stupidity everywhere you look. By the way, if you consider my little history lesson an intellectual brag, you must be pretty f***ing stupid yourself behind all those clever words you like to use. I was just putting one of your bum-chums right about something he should know, before blundering like a dumb t*** about something he didn't have a clue about, and if you check back (again) you'll see it was in defence from one of his snide remarks anyway. By the way, your comment about 'people not in Yarmouth today', I'm in London next month for a few days, I’ll let you know when as soon as I know, I'll be drinking in the Gypsy Queen on Elder Road in West Norwood with a few old mate of mine, you just let me know if you want to back that statement up and take it that step further mate alright, and that goes for any of your anti-British comrades?

Er, I mean, yeah it might do... Tell you what. As soon as I work out a way of proving that peace is the right path -- by only using my fists (unless fighting dirty is how it's done these days??) -- I'll be up for it. But until then I won't be able to "back that statement up and take it that step further". In the meantime, I'll ask my "comrades" if they hate the country that gave them birth, education, work and a home as much as I apparently do, and I'll get them all to come along too. Job done.

I aint threatened you once mate, I offered you the opportunity to be a man, back up your statement and make your snide smug comments to my face. By the way, I've constantly backed myself up with 'reasoned arguments' for months and months on HOL, each time hitting dead-end closed off brick wall minds like yours and it just becomes pointless. After a while reasoned argument goes to rat-s*** in the face of such smug arrogance. Why do you think fighting for what you passionately believe in, standing up for yourself is juvenile? Why do I need to grow up? I grew up quick mate, I f***ing had to! And part of that growing up was learning to stand up and be counted. I may not be a bean-pole, but I'm a short-arsed b****** and short-arsed b******s living on a rough south-east London council estates have to learn to fight and learn to fight well. I can't understand how you can keep making derogatory snide comments to people and not expect that they'll want to kick your f***ing head in. But then, you do live in Fluffyland.
