Its amazing to look at the amount of space there used to be around Selhurst at one point in time. If things had been slightly different maybe we wouldn't even be discussing moves to the NSC etc...
The face is familiar but I can't quite remember my name... |

And another (sorry if this is tedious) Great picture earlier on in this thread of us playing Derby County with us in our Real Madrid kit. That was Palace's first game in Div 2 after winning promotion. We lost 2-3 and I am in that crowd somewhere. Selhurst was a bit of a dump then it has to be said. I remember my first visit toward the end of the 63-64 season - there was some old corrugated metal fencing down the back of the Holmesdale End that was rusting and falling apart. This was quickly replaced for the start of season in Div 2. Edited by Pete53 (15 Feb 2012 9.53am)
