B*lls. The man is not only unelectable he is also a useless leader. He showed enormous weakness in the referendum process. He thinks he is in politics to support his own - personal - views. That isn't how democracy works, he is there to represent those that elected him.

I also don't accept that Mandelson (see Oleg Deripaska above) is the true comparison to Corbyn.

Erm a higher percentage of Labour voters voted remain compared to other parties.

Actually. Corbyn has been touring the country for months finding out the views of the public. Has he not been raising public concerns during Pmq's which rattled Cameron as he only seemed to be able to answer questions with questions.

Any other ways he's been ineffective, other than overseeing a 7% swing from the Tories in the Tooting by election or seeing Labour win the Mayoral election?

Let me discuss with my children and come back to you. I would submit that Labour voters should have been more pro EU and therefore largely Corbyn should have been preaching to the choir. It is in the nature of socialism to cooperate with others and it is an international and internationalist movement.

I look forward to it. I speak to many people through union campaigns out on the street. When you challenge the unelectable rhetoric, people go quiet.

You really are deluded aren't you me old son.

I will be glad if Corbyn remains Labour leader. It means that we don't have to worry about a Labour government managing the economy for a least another term.

A weak opposition is not something to wish for. All Governments need to be kept honest.

When you are speaking to these 'people', do you find that they say 'yeah..aha..aha...yeah...aha...yeah' and then drift off before you have delivered your Churchillan defence of Comrade Corbyn?

You are right about that, but with Parliament as it is the Tories won't be able to do anything too extreme.

I'm glad you think my oratory skills are on a level with Churchill. Thanks.

Of course some are yeah yeah, but I engage in dialogue which is two way. Show an interest in what they say and they listen to you more.

I'm sometimes polite to Jehovah's witnesses.
But I don't believe in God.

Would love to be a fly on the wall and witness this. How do you argue your point in these circumstances without being able to supply links to dubious leftie blogs?

Wife beating may be socially acceptable in Sheffield, but it is a different matter in Cheltenham

That's what is for.

You obviously didn't get my sarcastic response.
