Sick of some of the negativity on here tonight. We played well and would have got a point if it was not for a disgraceful unsporting bit of play by Everton just before their goal. The formation was ok today, we just need some luck. Get real it was not that bad. Plus Wilf is on his way back from the African Nations Cup

I agree. Team set-up was good, players were prepped. Maybe still tired at the end though. Lazy swings out of defence instead of knowing you have time or directing clearance or out of play. Delaney the usual culprit again. The ref was not at fault for Schlupp being injured out of play and knowing he was, and then Schlup shifting back on the pitch. I have seen oppo players hurt out of play and our players check they're ok. None of that today from Everton. Maybe we should do a bit of the same from now on if that's how it is.Never give the ball back or kick it out of play in the expected good sporting incidents. Maye it should be f*** 'em from now on and play self interested only.

Palace have the best team there have ever had. we have a better team now than when we ended up 10 in the PL 3 years ago.now we are bottom 3 with 1 win in 8 games we should be top 10 so something is definitely wrong and it aint the training and fitness i can asure you of that

If you want to stop the game and the ref is not doing it, foul someone out wide, pick the ball up and tell the ref what he needs to do. You get a yellow card, but you break up the play and the injury gets sorted / substituted. Schoolboy stuff really. If the ref thinks Schlupp is off the pitch, start treating him, the fellas injured. If the ref then wants to stop the game to discipline the trainer, happy days. We just need to do what all the other teams do.

Most players get injured just inside the pitch and won't move off when we shout at them to do so. Rarely do you see a team concede from an injury at the other end but we do. Several reasons. - The loose swing from the weaker left foot out out to the area where Everton players were without looking. Happened not long before by Delaney. Not good enough. - Nobody covering left back properly. Chungy initially was but not at the crucial moment. - Lack of that mean streak to do the necessary left over from the happy training ground era. - We haven't our true competitiveness back because of the above. They are not thinking of points almost there or at risk and it is not surprising really. Their alertness and focus has probably cost 10% and it's about that or so that's psychological. Enough ability, fitness, mindset, confidence and all that not yet back to where it needs to be.

Or maybe you can read what they are thinking, and can tap into their mental "focus, mindset, and confidence" like Mystic Meg? State facts, or at least make it look like opinion.

People who say that word aren't worth the air they breathe. Sport at the highest level is either 5% or 10% psychological. Our psychology is shot, together with our fitness and focus and cohesiveness. Thankfully Sammy Lee is drumming this cr&p into them. Actually don't bother replying. You had your view when it was worth one in 1983.

If an opposing player was injured and off the pitch and crawled back on in an attempt to get the game stopped, it would be called cheating.
