Embrace the liberation that only nihilism can bring. Freedom from meaning and truth, might yet save us all, admittedly, by sheer coincidence.

I'm not sure it's nihilism but more that we look for meaning, morality and truth in the wrong places.

True meaning comes from within.

And even then if you reach that state of nirvana it must be a bit 'been there, done that: What next?'

You experience this marvelous existence for a brief moment. How much more could we ask for?
You live, love, maybe have kids, see all you can see and then die. We are a species capable of understanding and manipulating the world around us and yet despite this quirk of evolutionary good fortune we still obsess about the irrational, intangible and unreachable. We have a constant desire to explore, conquer, understand and exploit the planet and beyond. This has been one of our greatest strengths but could yet be our downfall.
Man's wisdom really does walk hand in hand with his idiocy.
The ultimate truth might be that despite being the result of a random selection, we are as good as it gets in the universe. Would that really be such a terrible truth?

You can't brand all people with right-wing, pro Israel, anti-immigration ideas as terrorists.

LOL the sarcasm was missed...isn't this what right wing posters do of all Muslims, indeed they go so far as to misrepresent the differing schools of Islam, even conflating it with salafist sects.

You are basically so right yet there are tribes/peoples who have lived harmoniously with each other and nature. Socially responsible, looking out for one another, replacing nature when they take from her etc.

Unfortunately, that is only 0.000001% of the population but it just shows it can be done. The rest of humanity has followed a different path or they have been forced to after having their culture wrenched from them.

The pressure of competition makes that very hard. Harmony usually only breaks out when there is a perceived mutual benefit and even then it is usually at the expense of another group. It's a complex relationship that no one fully understands.

I'd be interested to hear some of your observations on the human condition.

Frankly I have given up on humanity. Most of us are just too stupid and or indoctrinated to think rationally.

All the time we allow religion, tribalism and hatred to rule our lives, we are doomed. Sadly, being humans, we can never trust the "other side" to do the right thing as we see it, so we are always on some sort of war footing.

Dr Zaius was right.

You forgot 'the financial sector'.

Last November, in the war on cash, Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi demonetized 500 and 1000 rupee notes, eliminating 86% of the country’s notes overnight.
There have been at least 112 reported deaths associated with this demonetization – including suicides and the passing of elderly people waiting in bank queues for days to exchange money.
