Come on lads. Bad day, really really bad day. but if we had of lost 4-0 to Bournemouth and beat Sunderland would it be as bad. Perspective. only 2 points off. Hope Swansea lose tomorrow and it stays 2 points. Big Sam was very honest in his interview after and said "HE WILL" sort this. Can't blame Big Sam when we have had a problem playing at Selhurst for a long time. We have time. Sakho and Milo will now play a part.

WE WILL STAY UP. COYP!!

Best of luck with that hugely unlikely scenario.

Them others. Let's face it though we have a habit of making poor teams look good. We are better off playing half decent teams and playing them away from home. So a win at Stoke it is then.

I have not got a negative mindset. The opposite in fact. I am very positive we will go down and have been since Arsenal away.

And do you want the really bad news? I always get it right re:play-off finals and relegation over the last 28 years.

I've gone past caring now. The s*** run of form is never ending, every week is the same old s***.

I look at the team and I just don't see any real threats. Zaha aside. Lets hope Luka can revitalise us and time for Delaney to move on, Sakho in.

Hennessey has always been complete dog turd, he has the look of a gormless spineless scared rabbit in front of goal, and inspires zero confidence, and instead instills fear in every Palace fan's heart each time he is starting.

Mandanda is a brilliant keeper, when is he coming back? Speroni can still do a job for us in the meantime. Hennessey is complete s*** though, if we continue to play him we will lose.

On what basis? Did nothing when he played for us, except let is some very weak goals (Defoe scored two at their place against him). Speroni hasn't had a clean sheet in his last 14 league games. The problem is not the keeper.

I think our little spat on here is small fry compared to the idiot that got arrested for trying to Punch Damien as the team were leaving the pitch. To me that is uncalled for as no fan should attack players even if the team are losing. We should be bigger than that in my opinion and treat it as just a game and we lost.
I hate being at the low point in the league but we still have time to turn it around if BFS can get the players mind set right and all our bickering on here will do the lads no good if they come on and read it.
I apologise if I was near the mark with you and it wont happen again.

Sounds like an ugly day all round, on and off the pitch. As you say we can still pull out of this and wouldn't be the most spectacular event in recent PL history just yet, Leicester might well have all 3 of those. The mistake might of been playing the same formation, something Sunderland knew would happen, rather than throwing Remy into the mix and a pity the new Serbian couldn't sort out his paperwork. It looked from the off that we were trying to steal a result at home. These and Sakho must figure now as it is clear a number of the team who have featured all this season aren't mentally up to it.

I appreciate you love Wayne but

He is supposed to be the keeper who commands his area. He doesn't.

He is supposed to be the keeper that distributes well - he doesn't.

Speroni may be a step behind but he is nearly 38. Wayne is 29 so in theory in his prime. I dread to think what his "downhill slide" will be like!

Losing to Bournemouth and beating Sunderland was a much better scenario than what has happened.

How long before we can blame Allardyce? We have gone from scoring and conceding a lot to conceding a lot.

7 league games so far

Just back and still truly baffled by our approach today. This is not hindsight, I said it when I saw the team. Yes, I know the old don't change a winning team adage, but surely you don't set up at home to bottom team Sunderland as you do away to Bournemouth?
It started OK, but you cannot have a keeper that gifts the opposition goals, especially if you are a team with fragile confidence at home and hope to get away with it.
The loss of Cabaye really hurt us, because although many like to complain about him, he's a busy urgent type of player who always looks forward first before he inevitably has to pass back or sideways because of a lack of movement in front of him. He also leads the team in interceptions BTW. When he went off the obvious move to me was Townsend and push Macca into the middle, as he's also a busy forward thinking player. Townsend would of also stretched the field a bit making life easier for Wilf and taken us back to our double wing threat days. Townsend proved in the second half how poor that decision was as he beat the right back time and again. Ledley has served us well, but he's not up to it in the prem anymore and with Punch our midfield became too slow and laboured. Punch is so low on confidence right now that he just keeps turning in circles and holding the ball too long.
We set up too conservatively and once Hennessey and Ledley gave away the first two goals we were done. Really cannot understand Sam's approach in the game that I really believed was gonna kick start our season. Also can't believe Sam didn't believe we desperatley needed a new keeper in the window?
Was truly soul destroying today, but I expected no points at Bournemouth and a win today, so I got the 3pts I expected, just the wrong way round.
Personally think we are going down, but I've been wrong before and there are plenty of points to play for, it's really now down to how mentally scarred we are after today.
