Work Permit certainly not confirmed by the club.

We will have to wait for Sam's press conference tomorrow - whatever time it is due to happen!

First match 5th October 1974 - not a good day!

Any complaints about him being a working migrant, who is taking jobs from plentiful British nationals?

Any?

He would be applying under Tier 2, as an "elite sportsperson"; which requires only registration with the FA or equivalent body and having enough money in the bank, so whether there were a British midfielder who doesn't run round in circles in the middle of the pitch, pass the ball backwards and give it to the opposition all the time is neither here nor there. Mr Puncheon cannot therefore have the Home Secretary judicially reviewed if Allardyce drops him.

Tier 2 applications from Belgrade are processed 71% within 5 days and 100% within 10 days so frankly it should be done by now.

On the HOL radio podcast preview of the Stoke game, they said the work permit has come through and he's available for Saturday?

Would be quite ballsy to play him after 2 or 3 days of training only? But then again, its time for some risks here, we are awful right now.

Right now I think it'd be quite ballsy to play Jason Puncheon and he's been training with us for years.

Playing Wayne during the latest Hen-detta would require massive ball strength also. I really hope he rings the changes for Stoke, and starts with Joel Ward.

I think actually, joking aside, I'd love to see some of the maligned players get to play and put in a decent performance. I'm laying into people like Punch but actually I'd rather see him play a great game than get dropped. I'll groan to see a largely unchanged side, don't get me wrong, but at the same time if they vindicate themselves I'll be very happy about it.

That hasn't been reported anywhere else, including the official site; let's just hope they have that one right. Has there been a pre-Stoke press conference yet?

930am tomorrow the presser. But I cant see how Sam can throw him in the team with next to no preparation time with him. Maybe on the bench?

Maybe he watched us last Saturday and is delaying on purpose - and I am only half joking!

Not sure you quite get the point of the question. There is a British footballers who isn't getting a contract because of him.

The question is does anyone have any complaints about it, not is his employment legal?

The inference clearly being that if someone doesn't have a complaint then they shouldn't complain about Polish plumbers either.

I hazard a guess that the question was designed to smoke out hypocrites.
