Leicester. I know they weren't one of the options, nor is it likely now, but seeing that rat-faced tw*t Vardy crying on the final day of the season would make it for me.

Funny ain't it, a couple of seasons ago a lot of us were saying Swansea were the team we should try and emulate. Small club, well ran, played good football. How times change. .

Well we have been doing our best. We got promoted, stayed up, played so good football, looked like breaking into the next level, then got into a horrific run of losses and desperate relegation scrap.... I want Hull to stay up, simply because that despite their owners and their fans, and sometimes their own best efforts, they've done remarkably well for a club that started the season with 13 professional players....

Then, we were only recently promoted, and looking for role models of clubs who had consistently maintained Premier League status - relatively comfortably - on meagre means. Now, while things didn't go well in 2016, we have our most talented squad ever and - with an unprecedented amount of coaching continuity (say, more than 10 months) - we have a real shot and being a solid top half team next year.
We don't do possession; we do defense and attack. Everything else is just wa**ing with a football. |

I only want them to go down as the alternative to Hull, who seemed to show a bit of fighting spirit not so long ago. The suggestions of Leicester or West Ham would make me a lot happier, they just weren't on the table!

Selling to the Americans was their problem. I still think that on the whole they are the model we should be trying to emulate, along of course with Southampton. The anti-welsh sentiment is laughable and boring, the reasons behind why they play in English league has been gone over time and again. Also: a) The Premier League is not called the English Premier League b) Football was around long before 1992, surprising I know

Watch this and still tell me you want Hull to stay up. Of the teams below us, in order, I'd like to see West Ham, Leicester or Burnley relegated. Most of all I'd like to see Brighton relegated over financial irregularities before the start of the season.
It's 106 miles to Chicago, we got a full tank of gas, half a pack of cigarettes, it's dark... and we're wearing sunglasses. |
