Well if we're only interested in English managers Dyche is the best we can get really. Monk would be a f***ing disaster. I posted somewhere about the difference between them basically being bottle, Dyche gets promoted and has now stayed up with basically little resources whereas Monk's lot collapse under any pressure at all. However, have we ever appointed a manager that wasn't English? Well, Freedman I suppose is Scottish. It would be a departure to get an Italian or Spanish or German gaffer.
