Or doing what Hennesey did the other night, admittedly upon the advice of Ashley Williams.

At the risk of being slated by the Hennessey mafia, Speroni's distribution was a vast improvement on Wayne's.

Bangell - If Camus wrote The Myth of Sisyphus today, it would be about Jason Puncheon eternally trying and failing to pass with his right foot.

Some of his kicking was to say the least wayward. His saving and coming for the ball were good though.

Which would be a ridiculous thing to say - except insofar as you might have thought we should be running the clock down instead of taking pot-shots at Courtois.

Of course it would, may not stop them though! Did you see the little hobbit Conte leaping around, pointing at wrist and shouting...

Most certainly not European.

Assume Huddersfield replaced Sunderland in the Prem, that means we currently have 3 points from 8 games compared to 6 points from the same 8 games last season. Not so far behind then! (Yes, no striker etc etc)

In addition, did anyone notice that Man C p*ssed all over Stoke? Interesting that.

No offence, mate, but I think personal insults against the guy's appearance are a bit out of order...but yes I did see the 'animation' you refer to. Isn't it great when WE are the ones winding the OTHER TEAM up for a change?

MOTD tonight, if the commentator on the stream I watched
said one more time "it's all down to the Int'l break which tired the Chelsea players so they didn't play their normal game" I would have thrown my laptop out the window, so Shearer and co better not start that line tonight.

What about our tired and injured internationals:

Hennessy
Benteke
McArthur
Milivojevic
Fosu-Mensah
Schlupp
Reidewald
Lee

Guess they didn't run around as much as the Chelsea players did whilst away.

That's because they've got more class.

We didn't really miss Benteke at all today - despite not having a recognised striker the movement and interplay was superb.

[Link] : Julian Speroni - His return in goal met with delight from the fans. The goal was not his fault, and he was tidy in what else he had to do, making a couple of smart stops as Palace came under pressure in the second half. 7

His saving/shot stopping is much better imo. His kicking is nowhere near as good as WH's though.
