I disagree with Nick on plenty of things Pikes. I am not defending him. I am not even an out and out Labour supporter. His leftism is a bit different to mine. But what I do find distasteful, and Willo gets it in the neck too sometimes, is that if folk have been wound up by a poster, even if they are trolling, their reaction is way over the top, quite nasty sometimes, and not in proportion with what has actually wound them up in the first place.

So while your analogy of the hypocrisy of complaining of being hit back if one has done the hitting first has legs, it does kind of stop being valid if the person being attacked hits back with a hammer after first being hit with a tea-towel.

And as for the Kenny Lunt thread - good skim reading that again seven years later- well, worst thing I said was she probably had low-self esteem which was not that nice granted but then said she was probably fantastic in bed because of that
