I went into John Lewis in the West Midlands today and they were using the recent Palace cup final game as a demo on one of their giant screens. It was good to watch Punch's goal again in 4K

Reading this has upset me lol I missed a day of my holiday for the cup fina! If only we'd learnt to park the fooking bus once we took the lead! ! That feels better Edited by Barcelona Based Fan (20 Dec 2017 12.10pm)

Still can't bring myself to watch it yet. To win the FA cup is THE thing I want most as a palace fan. I know a lot of younger supporters don't care so much about it but for me when my kids or grandkids ask what I want for Christmas or my birthday it always has been and will be "Crystal Palace to win the FA cup".
Been to Anfield twice seen 14 goals and my team haven't scored any |

I'm guessing that it's all the same make of TV as it's probably the manufacturer that supplies the hard drive with the film on it to all the retailers. Interestingly enough it confirmed my dislike of LCD screens whether HD or 4K as whilst the static details looked sharp the ball looked fuzzy whenever in motion

My youngest loves to watch Punch's goal on youtube. He probably asks to look at it at least once a week -- sometimes its daily. Usually, once in front of any screen, he'll stop at nothing to stay in front of that screen, which means we then have to sit through the Man. U. goals. (I don't normally let him have free access to youtube after the time he went around his best mate's house and said all they did was look at naked people on youtube.)

Not winning the cup that year still feels like a bereavement to me. Crazy, isn't it? I think I need help. I've got over the 2016 defeat a bit better, even though I cried in my seat and wanted to throw myself under the train at Wembley Stadium station. Maybe I've reflected on the depressing inevitability of it all. I've never watched a video of that game either!
