My understanding was that he agreed to sign for Benfica at the end of the (Swedish) season which is November (I think). It’s been issues with transfer windows, visas etc that have dragged it out.

Alas, Palace policy all over the place. So we are now really looking for 'cover' and that's ok given our injuries. So why sell Keshi Anderson to Swindon for a pittance? Isn't he cover at least, he would probably like Kalkai get some game time before the end of this campaign as everybody is crocked long-term and may get a couple of goals who knows?

Probably a mixture of cover and real first 11 players/competition. How often does our bench look ok? 1 in 4 matches?

Hodgson and Freedman know far more about players such as Rakip than anyone on these forums. Great we've got out first new signing in the window and Roy Hodgson should get 100% from real Palace supporters. I'm pleased the club haven't blown massive amounts of money on some marquee signing.
