I really, really want a couple more years under Roy. Can't see him sticking around now that he knows how we go about business.

You really do under estimate him.

The only player they have signed in the 'Window' has been striker Guido Carrillo for £19 Mill.

This supplements their strike force of Austin,Gabbiadini and Long.Bit more than what we have !

And the Saints have got the magical “Black Box” as well.!!

On second thoughts, a poor window would see Zaha being sold.

A bit of perspective is needed sometimes.

How about the reasons published after the event? His brother & cousin (his agents) waited until he was in our office to sign a contract then demanded a substantial fee from us and another from Everton to facilitate the deal.

I don't think he necessarily needs to sell the club. Ownership isn't the problem. The problem is that he isn't the right person to be closing transfer deals. We didn't have the right person to identify and appraise players; he got someone in; we signed three prospective players who should turn out good if Freedman's track record is anything to go by. But what we are doing at the sharp end of the transfer market has been pathetic. He needs to delegate that part also to someone who is demonstrably good at it.

This, this and THIS

Parish is far from the last person we want running our club, but he should NOT be trying to do everything himself. What he SHOULD be doing is going to Roy and saying "Right, this is our budget, this is how much we're prepared to spend, and if you want to blow the whole lot on strikers, you live or die by it." He should put some TRUST in his manager and let him be the main man.

But he doesn't. Because HE wants to be that person, the king of Crystal Palace. Well, you're not Steve. Sorry if you don't like it, but the fans like Roy more than they like you. Get over it. I promise you leaving everything to the last minute isn't making you any friends. Just fork over the money and let him get on with it - then you can party it up on skiing trips all you like!

But until that happens, I'm gonna keep calling him out for his crap.

A poor 2 windows in a row is not signing a replacement for Mandanda. We had 1 window, and failed to do that. We have just had another window, and once again have failed. Our manager has said about 800 times how a PL team should have 3 front line keepers, and have you noticed how Hennessey makes the odd error, and Hodgson doesnt believe Speroni is a number 1 anymore.

How you can think that not signing a goalkeeper in the last 2 windows is acceptable is beyond my understanding.

Trump lost. Badly. Hahahahahahaha.

Wow, what a surprise, someone selling something and trying to get a good deal. When you have 2 keepers that the manager doesn't believe in (let alone 3) you go out and sign a keeper - thats the last window I am talking about. If Parish has presided over another transfer window where we have failed to sign a keeper, it will be the biggest mistake I have seen since the Goldberg days. How are we making the same mistake again? I literally cannot believe it.

If the reports are correct (that’s all we can go on rather than unsubstantiated rants) we’ve had two keepers lined up & their current teams have pulled the plug on deals because THEY haven’t been able to find replacements.

half the problem was the face we DESPERATELY NEEDED a Striker and a GK and other clubs knew this, so could extort away, that said, a poor window, Hope the new boys do well but i dont see any immediate impact quality there at all.

Yes it’s disappointing that we don’t seem to have signed a keeper I’m gutted. Not sure about the sarcasm, you sound like a spoilt child.
Overpaying for players with relegation a possibility would be the biggest mistake since Goldberg.

How is it poor, CB, Midfielder and Striker signed, just because you don’t know who they are. I guess you are influenced by the media with a thirst for big money signings.
Average window, could of been better if Lille didn’t piss about.

I suspect our supporters look at Swansea and see they have brought in Ayew and King who are pretty decent additions with PL experience.WBA have brought in Daniel Sturridge.Newcastle have signed Slimani.Stoke have brought in the combative Ndiaye for £14 Mill from Galatasaray.

By contrast our supporters will look at some of our signings and view them as unknown Squad players. They will see no goalkeeper addition (Not for the want of trying), a young striker with no experience in any top league etc etc and will question whether in the event of any further injuries the new additions will actually prove to be of any use.Of course the supporters have not seen the players perform but based on what is known about them they have formed a judgement - I suspect that overall they are underwhelmed !
