Classic Palace .. snatching failure from the jaws of victory .. 2 nil up.. 2 F*****g nil up !!!! ... just dejected, that’s it folks .. that takes the wind out of a teams sails .. Roll on the championship (and frankly a better yet less profitable league IMO) where we can enjoy some wins and not a relegation battle ever 5 mins ...

Sounds weird but that game was blown when we went 2-0 up.We sat so feckin deep it was suicidal the same as against Tottenham.We wasn’t doing that when we was on that good run, We was having a go at teams.On the bright side Wan Bisaka looks absolutely brilliant and I’d be gutted if he lost his place on that performance.Hes been every bit as good as Fosu Mensah and he’s ours.Yeah it’s only 2 games but he needs to be given a run to build on it.

What a sickener. Would have moved on from a 3-2 loss very quickly if not for the manner of that. As soon as they got their first I thought we wouldn’t hold on for 3pts. Thought we would get the point though. Tough to take. Playing well is all well and good but I just hope these two late goals we have conceded recently haven’t dented our confidence. Lack of options killed us in that games. Utd changed a lot from the bench.

I don’t feel positive after a game we “almost” got something out of where we did nothing but defend for 90 mins, ie Spurs last weekend. Tonight was different, we were brave on the ball and very good. I thought we were down and out but after tonight I think we can do this. Not sure if I’m the only one who thinks Sorloth looks like a pile of s*** though. Benteke, Townsend & Wan Bissaka all excellent tonight. MccArthur as always too. Onwards and upwards.

thought tekkers put a shift in tonight, sorloth was OK, and Ward will struggle to get back in the side with the excellent showing of wan Bissaka

Just my humble conclusions after ths match: Good performace: Townsend- the goal and the cross at Benteke's header in the second half (right footed!) Benteke- assist at the first goal, good defending at the corner when he saved it, a chance at the header in the second half. Not enough to save a sub-mediocre season, but today was a good performance. Wan-Bissaka- good tackles and even good going up, really an improvement from Ward. Schlupp- that fast free kick taken was great, also solid in 1 on 1 duels van Aanholt- both good and bad. Practically forced Schlupp to pass him at his goal because he was very concentrated and sprint forward. Should have attacked Lukakuat his goal.
Tomkins had that moment in which he was basically sleeping, not keeping the offside line at Smalling's goal. Hennessey was just terrible. Horrible performance. I thought he was having high morale coming from the Totenham good performance. He was shaky, he always let the United hope they can score. The others were Meh. Sorloth run, but also some really bad shots and decisions. Also, playing with such tall center forwards meant no counter attacks. Milivojevic was kind of slow. McArthur was ok.
