Alright brauny. Makes you wonder, i guess alcohol and a Neolithic tribal instinct just possess's these bafoons.

Guy behind me isnt too great on that front, after calling schlupp a useless donkey for the umpteenth time (along with being homophobic) i confronted him. Ended up getting punched (so did my mrs). Hoping the club do something about these idiots, they dont belong at football.

That sounds terrible mate. Although if someone punches your mrs , you need to do something about it , not the club.

I agree. But you still can't blame them for the load of very very good chances our players have missed this season. If we'd have taken even half of them we'd be comfortably mid table..

Entertaining game, which we should have really won. WH were there for the taking. Keep looking at Jimmy Mac miss and haven’t a clue what was going on in his mind,to not even hit the target ffs....

Why we were last on MOTD god only knows. That Watford v Everton game was complete dog s***!

We would all love to see Max start but I guess Roy seems him as an impact sub. Managers always say how important it is to have one of these on the bench as a game changer and they play just as much a vital role as someone who starts.

As for the McArthur miss it wasn’t as bad as the Babel miss for Fulham

Jimmy's miss is one of the worst I have seen in a long time. A rabbit caught in the headlights for sure. Fabianski even did him a favour by going down early, all he had to do was dink it over him. Awful.

we may not be able to “finish” our dinner but its a joy to watch this team.

i watched the video on the official webby with kouayte, and his words were something along the lines of “with some self belief & confidence this team could be really, really special” he is right.

if we could finish our chances we could genuinally by a side to rival the teams for 6/7th place...man for man wolves arnt better than us.

i hope roy stays til he is 80.

A really refreshing post! In my opinion Palace are playing some of the best football I have seen for many years. There is not one team that I have seen out play us this season. Of course it is a worry that we don’t take our chances and finish teams off but I am certain we are not far being a comfortable top 10 side.
There are times when Roy can be a little frustrating with his substitutions but overall Roy is doing a really steady job and long may it continue. COYP

i get why young / salah / capoue get stick but its hardly on the scale of wba v pompey 2005 is it? its fooball banter, but the latter is pure & simply s***house abuse.

if you saw somebody you didnt like in the street would you repeatedly scream c*** in their face? or is it ok as its in a football stadium?

Yep and Snodgrass desreves EVERY bit of abuse thrown at him and more. What Snodgrass did is worse than Young/Salah & Capoue put together x 10!!!

I’m not sure if you’ve looked into the incident because if you have no recollection of it I suggest perhaps you do before you are so quick to question peoples dislike of him. (Hull v Palace 10/12/16 - Snodgrass is a Cheat!)

He went down under under no challenge and NO contact, conned the ref and took a penalty from it. Which HE then took and scored and celebrated beyond belief. That just tells you EVERYTHING you need to know about him and the lowlife person he is. It also typifies everything that is wrong with simulation in our game and those that perpetrate it. The incident was reported on heavily at the time and the fallout from it will quite rightly follow him throughout his life.

He will never rid himself from the label of being a cheat of the highest order.

I think shouting abuse at someone like that is perfectly reasonable given it is in a very noisy and crowded stadium and the proximity of the players to the crowd. The choice of words is down to the individual concerned. On an ordinary or quiet street it would be easier to walk up to him and tell him face to face that he is a cheating piece of scum and therefore shouting and swearing at him repeatedly wouldn’t be as appropriate in the given circumstances...or as effective!

I like him, good grafter, crosses early and great delivery.

Totally agree! Its so refreshing and great to watch, even if at times frustrating we dont always get what ww deserve due to missed chances. Weve a top half team, especially now we actually have some forwards back. Its hard to take seeing the likes of Bournemouth and watford knocking top 6/7 when as you say man for man there's very few id swap. It's been even harder seeing that crock of s*** from the southcoast above us, given that they kill the life out of games and bore their fans senseless. Its good times at the palace, im feeling a cup run, record finish and new ground alright...and the best footy for years!

1/6/2010.a new era.we made it everyone!!!lets get the ball rolling for another 105 years of proud history.thank you cpfc2010.

palace forever.eeaaaaaaaaaaaaaggglless!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I don’t disagree with you about his abilities as a player.

want to point out something i found uneasy today.

first couple of minutes, WHU got a corner, and there was one guy, on his own in block a, must have been maybe 50 years old, repeatedly screaming “c***” about 15 times at the player taking the corner, with 2 stewards in close proximity doing absoluty nothing about it.

what on earth makes a person behave in that manner?

i couldnt think how many games ive been to over the years but never, ever thought about doing that.

It was West Ham mate, that's reason enough. He's not wrong either tbf.
