Back from the Game :

Just a few observations :

1.Huddersfield were not the worst team to visit Selhurst Park this season and they didn't kick us off the park.
2. Aaron Mooy looked really good and was the best player on the field. Now they are down we should be interested in buying him. No doubt Matteo knows someone who is better but technically he was very good and worked incredibly hard for their team.
3. We all love Wilf but he showed today why he wont be a regular starter for a Top 6 side. When he has time to think about his finish (eg a one on one) he is poor and overall he doesn't show enough to transform a team if they're not playing well. I think he will stay next year.
4. Sadly Meyer doesn't show enough to confirm he can make the difference to this Palace team.

I wonder if we can finish the season with a 0 or + goal difference? Avoid a thumping from city (which tbf is what most teams hope for) then it could be a real possibility. Would be a positive way to end the season.

Not without Sakho whom we have sorely missed. If we are as open as we were today against Spurs and City they will pile up a cricket score against us. I think Kelly would be better tha Dann. COYP

Yeah it'll be tough but a decent thing to aim for. Ye I'd go with Kelly in the next game. Sakho is a huge miss on the defensive side but without him we also hugely miss his ability to find a decent pass out from the back (and of course his weekly one suicidal pass which he likes to throw in just to keep everyone on their toes).

Yep, but he could improve like Sterling if he gets into a top 6 side but would need work on his finishing. However he would be a good supplier in say a team like the Arse where they have no winger of his ability. Infact that team is crying out for some width. Could easily follow another legend Wrighty.

Another one is to get completely safe by Cardiff game with the Weeds sweating. You can fill in the rest. COYP !!

I never saw the game but people were saying PVA was awful. Strange then that Skysports gave him MOTM

Obviously confused him with AWB.

Pleased with three points but how hard was that to watch?

Not that I was counting but PVA and Schlupp gave the ball away 11 times in the first 12 minutes...shocking for professional footballers.

We miss Sakho when we start from the back. BIG TIME. Without him we are very very poor at home.

An ugly win.
Some terrible misses.
Some woeful defending with our slow centre halfs.
Aaron Mooye ran the first half.
Meyer just doesn't suit Roy.
Roy must leave at the end of the season.
Nearly safe and nearly the end of pretty depressing season bar a few great highlights.
