Both Jenkinson & Tosun have knocked us back in the past Agree 100%, however there has to be a point where we stop entertaining offers as we will not have time to find a suitable replacement (and not be held to ransom)

Sounds like you're throwing your toys out the pram. Why would you not look forward to a new season? Even if it is a relegation scrap, we're a club that's used to fighting against the odds. Enjoy it! ..and it sounds like you are being argumentative for the sake of it. Am I not allowed to be disenchanted with the way football is going both at my club and more generally? I am not looking forward to the season because I go to get entertained, not to watch some second string players defend for 90 minutes. If Wilf goes and is not replaced please tell me what we have to look forward to?

I have always maintained, and I believe posted on HOL, that there should have been a deadline laid down in terms of Zaha's departure as we cannot have continued uncertainty about our key player and the fact that recruitment could well be influenced by whether he goes or stays. If I was Mr Parish I would probably say to Zaha words to the effect "You are STAYING, as the end of the window is fast approaching and NO club has met our valuation.We will reassess in January". To clubs I would say "Don't bother with your continued derisory offers, he is NOT for sale". You could Try again in January but only if you make sensible and realistic offers".

I’m not normally like this Willo and have to admit to having somewhat chastised you in the past for similar misgivings, but this year just has a bad feeling about it. I am sure you as I, are proved to be wrong.
