Johnson lost yet another vote in the HOC today meaning that MPs will have longer on Saturday to debate and also propose amendments. That could actually be quite significant, maybe allowing Benn to kick in. But why are they voting on this so soon, surely the 'deal' will be a complicated international treaty, how will they have sufficient knowledge to decide within only 2 days?

Johnson was apparently angling to get the EU to rule out an extension in the wording of their agreement but that seems not to have happened. I doubt very much whether they will express a view on this until after the UK Parliament has decided. Although I acknowledge it would only take one member to veto it and it's all over.

Labour, LibDems, SNP and DUP oppose this deal (and probably a few Tories). There is no way this is going through. Cannot see this not being extended with more bollox ensuing.

There's definitely plenty of opposition. I do wonder if brexit debate fatigue will set in though, and it might just get over the line. I always figured that the potential solution would be one that nobody was entirely over the moon about, and that seems to sum this up.
