Because he is a supporter of the far right and freedom of speech has gone and apparently WLM is a racist term. Personally think it was silly as he was always going to get banned but shows the frustration building in the country. So yes I also believe the way these protests have been carried out and the removal of our history has set race relations back years

Terrible, the guy looks to be a mixture of drunk, antagonistic and mentally ill. In targetting a black guy with a slur like that he's looking for a reaction, he can later complain about.

To your second point, there of countless videos of black people getting the n word angrily shouted at them by people clearly on the other side of the political spectrum. The left and right have very contrasting youtube viewing lists. Both revealing just half of the picture, so pretty much uniformally unrepresentative of people.

As a wider point, this is what the Internet has become now for left and right. People gorging themselves on content that sustains their preferred outlook. It's not a healthy environment. Social media offers the trade in of allegiance to neighbour and even country, for the comfort of unrealistic and cartoonish, often geography independent, shared perspectives and movements.

Good post. It's not a message that the partisan on either side want to hear but I'm glad he put this out. Myopic my way or the highway outlooks can snuff out the simple kindness and commonality that very often exists between people. The Father and son bond here is touching, and I'm glad that he offered his take especially at a time like this.
