Hard for me to juggle the fact that I would consider them to have it in the locker to beat us by 5+ goals but also can see us doing the 'experienced PL team' job and just being too wily for them, as we did last time. Too tough to call, will take a draw and pray for a win! COYP, not long now!
Now Zaha's got a bit of green grass ahead of him here... and finds Ambrose... not a bad effort!!!! |

The 10 games where we haven’t beaten them is at Elland road. The recent 4-1 at Selhurst, we had a couple of fortunate breaks that went our way. One being the Bamford goal that was ruled out for offside and the second being the wicked deflection from the touch line cross which deceived their goalkeeper. I thought 4-1 was a bit harsh on them, but you couldn’t argue with the Eze free kick which was sublime. He’s our Maserati and I hope he is in top gear as we are needing him more and more to turn it on. Go Eze, rip that Leeds defence a second one... We just don't know if this Matela chap is going to be able to link up with Eze, Benteke seems unable to move his feet for any anticipation.

Impossible to predict this because Leeds are so capable of doing either, if we can actually defend as a team and avoid defeat I'd be delighted.

I know a few don’t like him however for me he would be one of the first on the team sheet, although I would add, not at the expense of Eze, rather, as well as.

I really want to beat Leeds again. I am sick of hearing how great they are (even after we thrashed them last time). Leeds 0 Palace 5.

Agreed. Seconded. We are going to have a really good team when the key players return from injury (assuming we don't pile in more crocks) just as we come to play a really hard run of games. Not sure I would have preferred to have our best team and pile on the points now and get battered season end when less hangs on it (like last season) or struggle now but impress against the better teams. I am aware that last comment may invite cynical replies.

I’d be more concerned about such a policy inviting thoughts of relegation and the resultant fear that can spread through a team, although I get your thinking. I hated the end of last season.

Well we at least have a run of less daunting games for Eze, Mateta, Benteke to get used to having the responsibility up front. Wouldn’t fancy playing the top six now without Wilf
