Times today (selective quotes) 'Watching the Burnley match I saw one club with a vision and plan for the future and another who are rudderless' 'The hierarchy at Selhurst need to find some kind of direction, they lack identity' 'the plan each season is to do just enough to stay in the Premier League' 'the club are in real need of a shake-up' .... there is much more ! Strike a chord with anyone ?

Palace need to be competitive. It sends out the wrong signal when flops and sick notes are rewarded with new contracts, and out of form players are routinely favoured by a manager whose tactics belong to the 1970s.

Strike a chord with anyone ? You and I clearly read the same paper this morning. Cascarino is obviously enjoying our lack of form/direction at the moment. He often seems to me to have something negative to write about Palace in his column. Trouble is, it does strike a chord!
Dad and I watched games standing on the muddy slope of the Holmesdale Road end. He cheered and I rattled. |

I read it this morning. Regardless of what you think of Tony Cascarino, I found it interesting that he has articulated most of the issues that most on here see. While it has been convenient for some people to lay all the blame at Hodgson's door, it's clear that the way the club has been run for the last few years is a big factor in why we are heading in the wrong direction.

He might have scoured HOL for the views of the erudite supporters who grace this cherished site!

Wouldn’t want Hodgson anywhere near a transfer window. If we plan to invest in the summer let’s undertake the investment with a new manager with progressive ideas.
