Henderson signed Only last night a learned gentleman and I were in conversation about Henderson. Most certainly Henderson is a very confident character who has confidence in his ability but he has had his critics in recent seasons.

They will push each other and this can only be good for us. I did wonder why he would join as some media said he expected to be number 1. But reading the interview he has a baby and doesn’t want to keep being loaned out. 5 year deal gives him stability for the family and a chance to make number 1 his. Now to hope we get a forward playing player in before the deadline !

That aside whilst squad very thin - if everyone remains fit we have a decent starting XI with some capable subs - but as I said we are thin - lacking depth if injuries come about…!! COYP

On BBC Henderson is quoted as saying “There’s something being built here”. My assumption is that this is not a reference to a new stand therefore hopefully indicative that there have been plans for the squad outlined to him? If so, perhaps a bit of promise? I know many would like it to happen yesterday but hopefully some longer term plans are being put into action to build upon the last decade or so. There’s a few having a moan and rant on here which I really do understand but whilst I very much do not consider myself a ‘Parish fan boy’ I am more willing to keep the faith now than I was previously. Tomorrow could be very telling, or testing, or both!
Now Zaha's got a bit of green grass ahead of him here... and finds Ambrose... not a bad effort!!!! |

Eagle Football is Textor's 'vehicle' used for multi club ownership, but it is shared ownership. e.g. Ares are an investor in Eagle. You can have a minority stake in more than one club in the Premier, but all holdings must be less than 30%. Eagle hold 40%+ of the Eagles last time I looked. so they will have to dilute if they buy into Chelsea.
