Where to Eat?

If you're in Sheffield, you must try a hot roast pork sandwich with crackling and apple sauce which can be bought from various bakers in the town.

There are many takeaways along London Road, burger vans around the stadium, and lots of restaurants in the town centre, which is not far.

Where to Drink?

The Golden Lion is around 50 yards from the away end, the Earl of Arundel & Surrey which is located on Queens Road and is about 10 minutes from the ground; The Red Lion on Charles Street or the Norfolk Arms in the town centre.

Popular with Palace fans is the The Howard opposite the station, the Globe around the corner or the Penny Black through the bus station.

Many other pubs are strictly for home fans and can get a bit moody!

What's their ground like?

Bramall Lane is a pretty smart stadium. It has three fairly large single tier stands and one old two tier stand behind the goal where the away fans are housed - the Halliwells (the Bramall Lane) Stand .

The Desun Stand is only a few years old and has a row of executive boxes at the back. The hardcore Blades sit behind the goal in the huge Kop end.

For Palace fans, the view from the lower tier behind the goal is pretty good, as are the facilities. The allocation is 2,700 but can be increased to 5,200 if the upper tier is used.

What do they sing?

Hark, now hear United sing, the Wednesday ran away (again)
And we will fight forever more because of Boxing Day.

Who do they hate?

Sheffield Wednesday, Rotherham United and Barnsley
