From the South and West: Join the M25 and head north past M4/Heathrow, then past the M40 Oxford Exit at Junction 16. Take the exit at Junction 18. The slip road goes up to a bridge going across the motorway, turn left towards Rickmansworth. Head down into Rickmansworth until you arrive at a large roundabout near Rickmansworth BR station.

Where to Eat?

Jenny's Restaurant (Market Street), Kebab Restaurant (Market Street/Merton Road) Dominic's Snack Bar (Merton Road), Sarnies of Watford (Claredon Road), Hayris Kebabs (Claredon Road); Fry-days Fish and Chips (Vicarage Road) and opposite is Hot Bread bakers. The High Street has a chicken take-away, a Pizza Hut and a Burger King.

Where to Drink?

Five to 10 mins' walk away in the high street, there's a Wetherspoon's Moon Under the Water pub and the Rose and Crown; in Fearnley Street is Mac's Bar; in Stamford Road is the Nascot Arms. Outside the station is the Flag and Firkin.

What's their ground like?

Vicarage Road is a nice little stadium with three good stands and a new Elton John Stand built in December 2014.

Palace fans will be seated behind the goal in the North Stand, which is single-tiered. We'll probably be allocated half the stand which holds around 4,500. No pillars in the way and view and facilities are generally good.

What do they sing?

Who let the Horns Out?

Songs to sing back

Elton's rent boys, Elton's rent boys hello hello!

Who do they hate?

Luton Town
