Where to Eat?

There are some lovely curry houses everywhere, especially Witton Road.

Where to Drink?

The Cap and Gown (on Witton Island) is a two-minute walk from the ground and has an away fans' section. The Harriers (at the junction of Broadway and Davey Road) is found by a school and 10 minutes from Villa Park. Or else there's the Faculty and Firkin - close to the Aston University campus.

What's their ground like?

Villa Park is a classic old fashioned stadium which still impresses today. The gigantic two-tiered Holte End behind the goal was built in 1995 and holds 13,500, there's the two-tiered Doug Ellis Stand along the pitch and the more recent three-tiered Trinity Road Stand.

The older, but still impressive North Stand behind the goal has a small lower tier but two rows of executive boxes and large upper tier.

Palace fans will be seated here in the lower tier which holds 3,000 people. The view isn't great as it's quite low down near the front, while the facilities aren't bad.

What do they sing?

Villa, Villa, Villa!

Songs to sing back

In your Brummie slums...

Who do they hate?

Birmingham, West Brom and Wolves.
