Andrejs Rubins won his 15th cap for Latvia in their goal-less draw with Azerbaijan, in Riga, at the weekend.

Alex Kolinko had to sit the game out through injury, where the Latvians were outplayed for much of it.

Azerbaijan midfielder Ilham Yadullayev and Latvia striker Vists Rinkus were sent off in the 50th minute.

But the 2,000 crowd went home on Saturday without seeing any goals.
