Kabba opened the scoring
Palace made the perfect start to their pre-season campaign with a 3-0 victory away to Barnet.
Stephen Kabba, Andrejs Rubins and Danny Butterfield on his first Palace appearance, all scored in the first half.
Dougie Freedman was having a lively game and in the 25th minute set up Kabba, who turned and fired home from eight yards for the first goal.
Four minutes later, Kabba then turned goal provider and his cross was side-footed into the top right corner at the edge of the box from Rubins.
Eight minutes before half-time, Butterfield volleyed home a Danny Granville cross following a fine team build-up for goal number three.
In the second half, Palace created many more chances but were unable to add to the scoreline.
For the last half hour, Trevor Francis made eight substitutions which included some of the Eagles youngsters.
The next friendly is Bournemouth away on Wednesday night, kick-off 7.45pm.
Palace: Clarke (Kolinko 60), Fleming (Hunt 60), Granville, Austin (Borrowdale 60), Popovic (Antwi 60), Butterfield (Routledge 60), Mullins (Surey 60), Thomson (Black 60), Freedman (Williams 60), Kabba, Rubins.
