Simon Jordan has spoken out over the Kolinko/Francis situation, and wishes for the matter to be closed.

He feels that both Francis and Kolinko behaved in an inappropriate manner on Tuesday night, and states that the matter is an 'internal' one.

He said: "I feel this is a case of an agent seeking to profit from an unfortunate situation.

"I have spoken to both parties and Trevor has apologised to the player because it was an inappropriate reaction.

"The player is entitled to his opinion but we have two alleged incidents here and I wasn't there to see either of them.

"We have an alleged incident where a player was seen to be smirking after a goal and an alleged incident of him being clipped around the ear. Both are unfortunate and inappropriate.

"The player has played for the club for four years and there is no history of problems between the player and the manager. "This is an internal club matter and it is closed. I have acted appropriately.

"I would like to think we can go forward and resolve this situation in an amicable fashion."
