Crystal Palace
Crystal Palace have denied reports linking them with a move for Grimsby keeper Danny Coyne.
Coyne was touted by the press as a Palace target as Matt Clarke is out for the season injured and Alex Kolinko picked up a groin strain.
The Eagles had to draft in Nic Michopoulos on a month's loan from Burnley and German Sven Scheuer on a short-term contract.
But a spokesman said: "We have heard the rumour but it is not true.
"A couple of weeks ago when Matt Clarke was injured, there was talk of Coyne's arrival but since then the club haven't heard anything about it.
"It's purely speculation. When Alex Kolinko returns from international duty, he will be playing against Wimbledon on October 19."
Scheuer has been released by Palace after failing to impress in a trial.
The German even paid for his own flight to come over in a bid to land a contract at Selhurst Park.
