Crystal Palace travel to Bramall Lane to face 7th placed Sheffield United.

Having been in the starting XI for the past four games Stevie Thomson will spend the weekend on the treatment table recovering from a leg injury he picked up in the 1-0 defeat to the hands of Reading on Tuesday.

Meanwhile youngster Wayne Routledge is likely to return to the starting line up having featured as a substitute in midweek. Another player returning from injury is Aussie defender Tony Popovic who should line up in the centre of defence alongside Kit Symons and Darren Powell with Hayden Mullins moving into midfield.

Having made his debut for his new club just last weekend, Steve Kabba will once again partner Dean Windass up front for the Blades as he faces his old red and blue team mates.

Meanwhile Wayne Allison and Paul Peschisolido are both rated as doubtful as they are currently suffering from hamstring and stomach problems respectively.
