Palace v Millwall

Selhurst Park, Saturday 3.00pm

Nationwide Division One

Nationwide Division One

Team news

Following the 5-0 battering of Br*ghton Palace fans will be hoping for a similar performance against rivals Millwall, with a win for the Eagles leap frogging them over the Lions.

Trevor Francis will be pleased to welcome back several players who did not feature in the midweek Worthington Cup win over Oldham. Julian Gray has recovered from his tonsilitis and should return to the starting line up. He should line up in midfield alongside Shaun Derry who has overcome a hamstring problem. Andy Johnson should also be fit in time for Saturday as he nurses a twisted ankle. Following his brace against Oldham Tommy Black should keep his place in the starting line up.

Millwall travel to Selhurst unbeaten in their past four games and currently standing 10th in the Division One league table.

The Lions will be without young midfielder Joe Dolan, who having just recently recovered from a broken leg has now suffered from a cruciate ligament injury which will keep him out for the rest of the season. This means that Mark Phillips should replace the injured Dolan in the centre of midfield.

Millwall's bad boy

Livermore - 9 1

Palace old boys

Claridge, Roberts, Tuttle

The pikey with the rolled down socks (that never get him booked) might not be the most skillful or graceful, but he always scores against us, no matter which team it is he plays for. If Palace are to avoid a result like the two we got last year, this is the man we need to keep quiet!
