Leicester City v Palace

Walkers Stadium, Saturday 3.00pm

Nationwide Division One

Nationwide Division One

Team news

Trevor Francis is unlikely to make any wholesale changes to the line up which held Liverpool to a 0-0 draw last Sunday.

This means captain Curtis Fleming will keep his place in the starting XI having returned from a long lay off in the previous weekend’s FA Cup game.

Striker Dougie Freedman has recovered from his hernia operation and having played for the reserves in midweek he is likely to start from the bench with fellow forward Ade Akinbiyi.

Second placed Leicester have won just one of their last four games including recent defeats against Gillingham and Wolves.

James Scrowcoft’s recent return from injury following a torn stomach muscle means he will continue up front with Paul Dickov.

Winger Andrew Impey is out for about a month having suffered a groin injury in training.

Fellow midfielder Billy McKinlay will also miss the game against the Eagles as he is currently out with a foot injury.
