Former Wimbledon and Luton Town boss Joe Kinnear has expressed his interest in the vacant managerial job at Selhurst Park.

Kinnear has been out of football since his sacking by Luton during the summer, but he is looking for a return to the game.

Kinnear told the London Evening Standard: "There has been no contact but Palace would have a big attraction for me. I have always regarded them as a club of huge potential.

"I have been waiting for the right opportunity to get back into football and we will have to see what happens."
