England U21 boss Peter Taylor was impressed with Ben Watson and WAYNE ROUTLEDGE in the 1-0 defeat to Spain.
Former Eagles player Taylor said he like what he saw from the two Palace 19-year-olds who made their England U21 debuts.
Watson was brought on at half-time, while ROUTLEDGE made a 56th minute appearance for the Lions.
"Ben Watson came in and did well in the first time he has been involved with England at any level," said Taylor.
"It was more difficult for WAYNE ROUTLEDGE because we were down to 10 men but I have been very impressed with him in training."
