Shaun Derry's proposed move to Leeds United has fallen through.

Derry had planned to join the Elland Road club on loan for a month, with a view to signing permanently. But Palace and Leeds couldn't agree terms.

"We haven't been able to conclude the terms of the transfer to Crystal Palace's satisfaction," said Leeds board spokesman Brian Morris.

"The situation is we wanted him on loan for a month with a view to a permanent move but they have not agreed.

"It could happen in the future if terms are agreed."
