Jobi's goal rush

Jobi McAnuff is desperate to score more often so he can get Iain Dowie off his back.

Eagles boss Dowie has been on at McAnuff to improve his goal tally for much of the season.

The former Cardiff winger scored his sixth goal of the campaign against Leeds on Saturday but Dowie still wants more.

McAnuff is determined to get into double figures and said: "As an attacking midfielder it's something that is important in my game.

"I didn't get as many as I'd have liked last year and the gaffer here is always encouraging me to get on and get in the box.

"He likes his midfielders to chip in with a few.

"Hopefully there'll be a few more before the end of the season."
