Peter Taylor is adamant Crystal Palace can still snatch an unlikely play-off place.
Taylor's side are eight points away from the play-offs after suffering their first defeat in six matches at Plymouth on Saturday.
But the Palace boss believes a top-six finish is not impossible because they still have to play several of their promotion rivals.
Preston, Derby and Wolves are all still to come to Selhurst Park and the Eagles have to visit Stoke.
Taylor said: "We have got seven matches to go. We have got to play four of the teams that are above us, three at home and one of them away, so it's still a little bit in our hands.
"But we cannot afford to slip up again and we could have done with something today."
