Ben Watson
Neil Warnock insists he has the final say over which players will leave Crystal Palace during the transfer window.
It has been reported that Eagles chairman Simon Jordan told Warnock to cut the wage bill by selling several stars, including Ben Watson, when the window reopens in January.
The midfielder has been linked with a £1m move to Reading but Warnock is adamant no player will be sold without his agreement.
"Simon wouldn't do that, because it's not in his jurisdiction," Warnock told the Croydon Advertiser.
"He would never tell me which players would have to be sold. If I really want to keep hold of a player, then he'll let me.
"I don't think we'll have to sell before we can buy in January. Though I'm always looking to balance the books."
Meanwhile, Palace reserves beat Southampton 3-2 on Wednesday night.
